Trick or Treat

Children love Halloween. Adults do too! It’s one of those “fun” holidays. We get to dress up and be silly. Children get to run through the streets, ringing doorbells and collecting candy. As we reflect back to our childhood memories of Halloween, you can’t help but smile, which is something we should each do daily. As we get older, life gets more complicated, and we get more serious and sensible, but on this special day we get to have fun. We get to choose to be happy, and to bring joy to others. There is nothing quite like the smiles and laughter of a child. It serves as a reminder to each of us that regardless of what happened today, we get to start over tomorrow.

Something to Think About

Life is not about the items we have.  It’s about something much more valuable that can bring us much more joy.  Life is a miracle and we only get one so let’s choose to be happy and focus on the things that truly matter.
